We want to be recognized as an organization that is responsive and informative in addressing the information needs of Ada County's residents. ACHD believes a well-informed public is key to having a transportation system that serves the needs of the county's residents.Media event

Information about the District's operations and projects is available on this web site, through publications like the Annual Report and the Word On the Street newsletter, and through phone and e-mail inquiries.

Regarding construction, the District is moving toward a "Context Sensitive Solutions" approach toward our projects, which means we will engage the public before a project has taken substantial shape and maintain meaningful interaction throughout the development of the job.

Your feedback is valuable to us - please  let us know if you would like any additional information made available via the Internet.

While roadwork improves transportation and makes it easier for drivers and pedestrians to get to where they need to go, ACHD understands that roadwork itself can be a problem for businesses. ACHD has a Business and Neighborhood Relations Coordinator who plans, organizes and implements outreach activities to explain ACHD programs and functions to business and residential community members.  Click here to learn more.
